Image Bank
Purpose
The Image Bank exists to ensure that DIY Easy Read can pair appropriate, high-quality images with the text concepts it generates during translation. Images are a defining feature of Easy Read — a document without supporting imagery does not meet Easy Read standards. The Image Bank makes this possible at scale and at speed.
Scope
The Image Bank is an internal component of the DIY Easy Read platform. It is not available for direct access by end users outside the application. The Image Bank is continuously expanded to improve coverage of concepts encountered in real-world document translation.

A search and matching system that the DIY Easy Read translation engine uses to identify appropriate images during document processing
